On Friday, September 27, close to 500,000 people marched with Greta Thunberg.
They marched to make people AWARE about climate change and the environment!
What are your concerns about climate change?
What are your concerns about the environment?
What steps can you take to ensure a long, prosperous and clean Earth?
Explain.
I have many concerns about climate change. Some of which are the fact that we don't know what our future is going to be like and the fact that the earth is slowly dying. Our future is endangered because of climate change. If we all did something small to help the environment there would be a big change. Our earth is change at a dramatic speed and like Greta said we need to do something. Lots of important animals will soon become extinct. Trees are being cut down and animals are loosing their homes. I think if everyone raises awareness and does as little as turning of the tap when they're brushing their teeth we can make a big change. Some people think that doing something small won't help but if all 7 billion people do something small to help the earth there will be a change for the better.
ReplyDeleteWow great blog very interesting
Deletei am concerned as well!
DeleteI agree, if everyone does a little something there will be a change!
Deletei agree!
DeleteAmazing blog!
DeleteYou have some real points here, I really like how you say we as in everyone including yourself and not just they

DeleteI have many concerns about climate change. One of my concerns are that i don't know what the future is holding for us, if were still going to be living or not and if the world is slowly dying from us, we really have no idea.I don't think that our envirement is a very safe one because everyday I see people throwing trash on the floor when there is a garbage can right next to them. I think that most people think that doing soething very small that ill take you 3 seconds like pickig up one piece of trash off te floor won't do anything but if some people see you do that maye one day when they see a piece of garbage on the floor maye they will do the same.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, great blog.
DeleteYou're 100% right. Great blog

DeleteI agree, we all can make small changes to make a bigger change.
DeleteGood blog, I agree.
DeleteI have many concerns with the climate change. Like my fellow classmate said we don't know what's in stock for our future and we don't know if our planet is slowly dying. I don't think that people respect our environment at all. I see people everyday throwing their trash on the sidewalk and sometimes into our lakes and rivers. People don't understand that this is slowly killing life as we know it. I think that if us humans want to have a prosperous and clean earth we should start picking up the trash that's left around and maybe start turning off the water when we're brushing our teeth.
ReplyDeleteI am very concerned about climat change and its effect on the environment. Its clearly just getting worse and worse and we need to do something about it, and if not I am really concerned for our future. Our environmment is not somewhere people wanna be anymore because of all the pollution because of people throwing their garbage everywhere and the pollution from cars. To make sure our earth becomes clean and a better place we need to stop polluting and be more aware of what we do and what effects it can have on our environment.
ReplyDeleteI'm too concerned about what are future will be like. great blog!
DeleteI have a lot of concerns with the current climate change status. People don't understand that this is a big problem, and that we need to make changes in our daily lives (even small ones) so that we can fix this issue. My concerns is that the environment will continue to change at it's current pace. Everyone can make small changes in their daily routine to help the world a little. We can use reusable items instead of plastic, and save water. Small things like that still make differences.
ReplyDeleteI agree that we need to make changes in our everyday lives to help save our environment!
DeleteI do have any concerns about this matter as we all know we have been told that the Earth is slowly dying. But we don’t know long we have left, there are so many questions I have. All of your lives can end in just one day. We should really be worried but many people don’t believe The earth slowly dying. We are using too much energy everyone should not use as much energy. We are polluting the earth day by day. All living things will slowly die, like animals which are necessary for us to live. Everyone should have to clean up garbage outside and plant more trees outside. We should also not all have a car people should take the bus more often and maybe buy an electric car. If everyone pics up at least one piece of garbage it would make a big difference. Everything helps!
ReplyDeleteI completely agree. Great blog!
DeleteI agree, good blog.
DeleteAs a matter of fact, I have many concerns about climate change. For instance, what will happen in the next few years? I honestly hope that we will make a change and help our environment be the green and blue it used to be! In my opinion, by limiting the plastic that we use (example reusable bags instead of plastic ones) would help a lot. Also, if almost everyone on the planet would plant one tree, that could possibly help get rid of all the gas that’s in the air. Hopefully we will do something soon about this.
ReplyDeleteI do have concerns about this. As we all know we have been told that the Earth is slowly dying. But we don’t know how long we have left, there are many questions I have, and that we need to answer. All of our lives can end in a matter of seconds. We should really all be worried but many people don’t believe The earth slowly dying. We are using too much energy which is putting countries into a state of energy dependance which causes them to produce more so it pollutes more.
ReplyDeleteI have rising concerns about climate change. One of the biggest ones is that we don't know what would happen to our earth after it's been destroyed. Our environment is slowly suffering the consequences of our terrible actions. I think to ensure a clean earth and to hopefully reverse the acts of climate change is to be more cautious of everything you do. if it's either making sure you don't litter, or stop using as much plastic. Another, big step we can take to reverse the results of climate change is by forcing big companies to stop producing as much pollution as they do. If they cut down their pollution made by even half, then the effects of climate change will start reversing.
ReplyDeleteI have many concerns about climate change. What will happen to all the animals if the earth cannot provide the climate that they need. We don't know what's going to happen in the future so we have to start preparing to change climate change. We have to do something are Earth won't be fixable. Overall, we have to do something to project and ensure that we will have a nice, clean Earth for generations after.
ReplyDeleteI have many concerns about the pollution and climate change. I have no idea what the next few years will look like for our planet and our future. So many trees are being cut down and so many animals are going extinct because of this problem. I see people pollute everyday, whether it's throwing gum on the floor or dropping garbage in lakes and rivers. To help our planet, we need to change this. We need to stop polluting and do the opposite. Picking up garbage and using less plastic will help make a big change in our environment. We really need to do something to make a difference.
ReplyDeleteI think the climate change is very alarming, the world is slowly coming to an end and it seems that not much change is happening to save our planet. I believe it's too late to change our bad habits and try to fix what we have already done. Although people are trying to spread awareness about climate change and protesting I don't think many people will change their bad habits. Because of the bad environment many animals are going extinct, which is very unfortunate because a lot of people don't pay attention to the wildlife.
ReplyDeleteI agree! I think it is too late but maybe we can slow the coming to an end down.
DeleteSome of my concerns on climet change is how it will effect the ecosystem . Becuase many ecosystems are already destroyed , and we've only permently heated up the earth be 1-2 degrees . Imagine what would happen if it was 10 or 20 . I think stopping all carbon emissions is a genrelly bad idea , as soo many things would be througn off by that . I think a better way to handle it would be to research more eco-friendly stuff and replace the old not as ecofriendly stuff with it .
ReplyDeleteSome of my concerns about climate change is the animals. I have such a big heart when it comes to animals. a lot of species are dying and that pains me. The air is polluted and people are getting really sick from it and thats terrible. I think more car companies should make more electric cars and city buses should also be electric. that way there is less gas going into the air which will help with climate change. I also think using way less plastic, which is a given, will really help. so for example getting a reusable water bottle/cup, metal straws, etc.
ReplyDeleteI agree! Great blog.
DeleteI have many concerns and am very worried about climate change. Our lifestyle has been involved and surrounded with things that make great damage to our world. Many think by just doing one simple thing like closing the tap water or taking the bus does not make a change but us working together and cooperating we can for sure make a big difference. Things have gotten out of hand and we need to do something fast before it gets worse. Without us acknowledging and ingoring the consequences our world has been slowly dying. I have noticed that many have been protesting and have been trying to spread awareness which is great but is sadly not enough. Us ruining the earth is making many animals and species extinct. We have to start reducing the usage of plastic and other harmful things to our environment immediately.
ReplyDeleteI agree, nice blog!
Deletei agree our lifestyle has an effect on the planet, great blog!
DeleteI have lots of concerns about climate change, as anyone else my age would. My main concern is where my future on this planet rests. Am I going to have to switch planets? Am I going to make it at all? Is my bright future going to be destroyed because the previous generations couldn’t control themselves? It’s all so unfair. What if my loved ones die because of climate change? Then what? What if my dog is affected? I can’t lose her because of pollution for heaven's sake. It’s just so hard to believe that my future is affected by all of this. I am just waiting for an alert to go off that tells us we have to leave earth. People need to step up and realize that there is no planet b. Take public transport, don’t leave your lights on for no reason. Do something. Be the change.
ReplyDeleteMy concerns about climate change are that I don't wanna have really cold winters and hot summers. I also don't know what our climate to change, because it will affect our temperatures and seasons which i don't want to happen. I don't want global warming to advance more and I don’t want most of the animals do die. My concerns about the environment is that I don't want all of our trees to be gone, I don't want our environment to be in bad condition. Also I don't want our environment to die, the fact that I don't want the forest to be cut down, our air more polluted than now. To ensure a long, prosperous and clean earth, I think that we should watch out for the amount of plastic we use, watch how much energy we use, use public transport etc.
ReplyDeleteI really don't have that many concerns about climate change or the environment. I looked up a few websites before making this blog and eventually I found one that says "Steven Hawking just predicted how long we have left on the earth" in the article he says we have 100 years on Earth. First of all things change, in the history nooks of my parents it said we had 30 years left of fossil fuels, now it says we have 50. Numbers change, nothing is set in stone, so what's to say that nothing will change here. I'll admit the thought of the whole world blowing up is pretty scary but who really knows what's gonna happen 100 years from now, we don't even know what's going to happen tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteJust before I end my blog I want to say one last thing. It's not the previous generations fault for polluting the Earth. Tell me have you ever used a car, have you ever used anything plastic in your life? Yes, well then you're a complete hypocrite. You are doing literally the exact same thing that 99% of the previous generation did. Tell me what has changed so drastically between your and your parents generation that you think you have "restrained yourself" your whole life and they "couldn't control themselves" while not only have you probably used more energy in your first 13 years then they did in their first 30, but you also think you deserve none of the blame for what's happening. I see a lot of blogs that say something inspirational like "do the right thing" or "be the change but every time I read one of these things I think, but why don't you help me. You're saying that other people are bad and are doing the wrong thing but what are you doing that's right! What do you think you're doing that puts you on some sort of heavenly pedestal over the rest of us lowly dogs. You're right, there is no other options, there's no other planets that are as good as ours, and if you think that is so terrible why don't you do something about it instead of sitting there and complaining about others! Even if I'm not that terrified about this subject I have some real respect for those who are and are ACTUALLY DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT. If you don't try to help out then you have no right to criticize others for not doing so either. What you're doing is like asking for a soda from a McDonald's but saying "well I want it, but I'm not gonna pay." Saving this planet we're on right now will be suffering for everyone and if you're not ready to suffer to save it then stop trying to pin all the blaim on others just like you
P.S: I don't mean to offend anyone with this blog these are just my thoughts on this subject

DeleteIn a book I had once read, it said that if the entire life of Earth had been shrunk into 24 hours, us humans have only been on earth for 3 seconds and at the rate that the environment is deteriorating we won’t be on Earth for that fourth second if we didn’t act now. That raised my concerns for the environment drastically, as it will definitely affect my generations future. If you’re planning on having kids when you’re older, it probably isn’t a good idea anymore as you’ll probably just ruin their future due to the current state of the environment. We need to change something to make an impact, no matter how much it costs, everything counts at this point.
ReplyDeleteMy concerns about climate change are that temperatures will continue to rise, that there will be more hurricanes that will get bigger and more dangerous and that our vegetation will slowly shrink. I also scared that the wild animals will die and or will all lose their habitats.
ReplyDeleteAnother thing I am also worried about is that we will start running out of our energy sources and our food sources. To help keep the Earth clean we can stop littering and if we see trash put it in the garbage or wherever it is supposed to go just to help clean up our streets, we can also find a way to either use less cars or make them a lot more eco friendly.

Deletemy concernes about global warming is that the earth will keep getting hotter and eventualy it will get to the point that it will be hard to do anything outside. I'm concerned about all the possible issues it will cause the earth that we havent even discovered yet and if some animals will lose there habitats or even there lives. To help stop global warming, we can all do little things to use less electricity like taking shorter showers. It may not seam like it but if we all do little things it will make big changes.
ReplyDeleteI have a lot of concerns about climate change because it’s really bad for us and for coming generations. The increasing of temperature in our Earth has a lot of negative effects. The high temperature due to global warming makes the icebergs in the north and south poles melt. This reduces the habitat of animals such as polar bears and penguins. The water of the melted ice goes into the oceans flooding the land. This also causes weather differences. The summers are warmer now but this also cause hurricanes. I am concerned about the environment too . By consuming too much energy from hydrocarbons, we are destroying the planet. Yet we still continue to use them because they are easy to extract, transform and transport. They are also a lot cheaper than other sources of energy. But eventually we will run out of them. The process of extracting and distributing hydrocarbons also pollutes the environment, the water we drink and the habitats of various animals. So I think that we can all help save our planet earth by using renewable energy, not throwing garbage and industrial waste that goes into the oceans, decreasing the usage of plastic and by using public transport. After all it’s our planet earth that we have to save.
ReplyDeleteClimate change is one of the most serious issues right now and only a small part of the whole world is willing to do something about it. Not too many people realize it's happening and how serious this actually is. The most devastating thing is that we're ruining the planet just to make more money for ourselves. The main reason no one wants to do anything about it is because people want to make money on things that hurt us and they don't care how this will affect the future generations and our planet. Some people are trying to reverse the damage we have done to our planet, but to do this the whole world needs to step in and do something, including us. The environment is falling apart and so many types of animals are going extinct because we don't know what to do. We need to start conserving energy, buying products we know are less harmful to our planet, and vote for the people who will do something about it too. We can't just recycle plastic and paper and expect our planet to be clean again. We need to make changes because right now at this very moment if we don't, we’ll kill our planet.
ReplyDeleteIt is unfortunate that climate change is a real thing. There are many ways to help it but in order to keep the temperature stable, the entire world must help too. Animals are dying and so are people too from all the pollution. They must get rid of any non-renewable energy. That would be a great step. The world also must stop driving gas powered cars. Thankfully there are companies making electric ones which are great. There is other ways that a single person could help like taking public transport more often. All of this could help stop climate change.
ReplyDeleteI agree. Great blog.
DeleteI agree. very nice blog!

ReplyDeleteSome of my concerns about climate change are that the planet is dying and only a few people in the world are doing something about it. Most adults don't really care about climate change because they are going to die before anything big happens. Only kids are trying to do something because we are going to be here when something huge happens. It also really doesn't help that some people in power think that global warming and climate change is a hoax. Icebergs are melting and animals are losing their homes. We have to stop using stuff that will pollute the environment. Cars, planes, really most travel devices are killing are planet and we have to stop right now.
ReplyDeleteyes, I agree! Nice blog
DeleteMy concerns are that are planet is dying and only some people are taking actions and trying to do something about. A lot of people aren't really taking climate change seriously and that's a big problem because now is not the time for all of us to die and for our planet to just not exist anymore. There are only kids trying to do something about climate change and their the ones that are trying to keep everyone alive. I think us kids should really start encouraging all adults to try and help with global warming and climate change because we really don't have to wait because next thing you know its too late.
ReplyDeleteMy concerns are that the planet is not in good shape and not many people are taking action and trying to make the world a cleaner place. If we don't do anything about climate change, most animals will go extinct one by one and plants will go extinct too. Then the earth will become an inhabitable planet and eventually we, humans, will go extinct. We have already started one of the steps to stop climate change, which are the marches led by Greta Thunberg. It will show some people that climate change is real. We also have to stop cutting down forests and ruining ecosystems.
