It is getting mixed reviews because it has great acting, but shows how crazy people are!

I am personally not a really big fan of going to the movies inless te movie is a funny movie because i find that if its an action movie or something than it gets over after a while and i just want to know what happens at the end and than I leave. I think that the movie joker can put a negative impact on people because what ive heard is that it is crazy so maybe they will try to do the acts in tht movie that won't turn out so good. The best movie that i've seen in the movie theater was probably Jumanji because I am a Kevin Hart fan when it comes to movies and I find that he just made the movie 10 times better and also there was a story behind and I lso like movies with a story so it put both things that I like about movies together.

DeleteI've always loved going to the movies with friends and family. I guess I can say that it relaxes me and I forget everything that's on my mind. I think that the movie JOKER can have some negative impacts on certain people such as myself. As I walked out of the theater on Sunday just after watching JOKER I found the movie to have made me unhappy and depressed. This movie also shows that there are a lot of bad people out there and it just makes you wonder if it's from these movies. I don't really think there has ever been a good/bad movie in my entire life, I pretty much have liked them all equally.

DeleteI personally don't like going to the movies that much. I am a person that likes to move and I don't that much patience but if I go with my friends it's more fun. Yes I think that movies like Joker can have a negative impact on people. It can have a negative impact on people because I heard that it showed how crazy people act and sometimes when it sounds like it's meant for a younger audience and when they see it they could be scared and or disturbed. The fact is that it is real life. The worst movie I've seen in theater was Dora because the acting was terrible. The best movie I've seen theater was Jumanji because I find the Rock and Kevin Heart work really well together and when they make movies together it is always funny.

DeleteI don't go to the movies very often but I always enjoy myself when I do go. I find that it's more enjoyable with friends. Yes, I think that the Joker and movies like it could have a negative impact on people. Movies like Joker are meant for mature audiences, and younger audiences could be scared by them. I don't have a favorite movie that I've seen in theaters, but my top two are Jumanji and Five Feet Apart.

DeleteIn my opinion, I do enjoy going to go and see a movie. I mean yes it can be expensive but it’s a really fun thing to do with friends or when you want to get out of the house on a rainy day! I haven’t watched this movie yet but I do think that it can give a negative impact on others since they can possibly “turn into” that character in real life. Also, little kids may go and watch that movie only realizing that it’s too scary for them so they get nightmares. Now all the movies I’ve seen are all pretty good but if I had to pick one, it would be Spider Man Far From Home. This movie was really good and funny at the same time:)

I haven't watched the movie joker but I've heard that it shows what mental illnesses do to you and that could have a negative impact on people. I don't have a favorite movie so far but most movies that I've watched at the movie theater were good.

I can see both sides of the reviews on the Joker movie since, if I went to see it with my friends it can have negative consequences. People really are crazy and I think that sometimes movies try to act as it's something that normal. In my opinion, theres a difference between someone who is loud and outgoing and someone who is crazy. I've never seen a terrible movie in theatres or a movie that has really stood out to me. But the last movie I watched was It 2 and I didn't find it that good.

DeleteI personally like going to the movies, especially with my friends. Honestly when it comes to movies having an impact on people it all depends on the type of person you are and your age. Some people take movies as jokes and dont take it seriously cause they know its not true, others not the same. Some people take movies very seriously and they have a big effect on them. Im not the type of person to take a movie like the joker very seriously because I know its not true. The best movie ive seen would probably be mama mia 2 because the first movie is a movie my whole family would always watch together and I used to watch it quite a lot as a kid. I went to go see it in theatres with my family which made it another reason why I enjoyed it so much. A movie that I didnt enjoy very much was lion king 2.

ReplyDeleteI love going to the movies with my friends. It's one of my favourite activities to do with a friend. I also love the buttery popcorn and slush! Movies do have and impact on people, I find. Some people actually believe in some movies or get really scared after watching a movie(me). Also they have dreams about the movies and thats what makes them fear the movie. But then there are people who know its fake and not real. Everyone know its fake but if there jump scares or things like that, that is what usually scares people the most. There are no best movie's because I basically like them all. My least favourite has to be welcome to marwen.
ReplyDeleteI love going to the movies. I don't get to go very often so when I do I really like it. I love getting popcorn and sitting with friends and waiting for the movie to start. I think movies like jocker could have an impact. It shows people how crazy someone can be and to be aware of it so they can think about what they should do in that situation. My favourite movies that I've seen in the theatre would have to be either Endgame, Spiderman far from home or the greatest showman. I really like the marvel movies but im also a huge fan of musicals so its hard to choose.

ReplyDeletePersonally, I enjoy going to the movies occasionally. I don’t do it too often, so I never pass up a chance to go. However, I think if I did go super often, I wouldn’t enjoy as much because a get a little antsy sitting in one spot for too long. Depending on the movie and person, movies could have a lot of impact on one person. For example, for a four year old, movies that are cartoons and give off a very obvious theme that is most likely a life lesson will impact them because they are learning to share, how to treat others, etc. However, if, for example, a 30 year old watched this kind of movie, it’s not going to impact their views on life. It goes the same if you switch it. My favourite movie is one that I watched a long time ago. I didn’t even technically watch it in the theaters. This movie is one that a lot of people are afraid of to this day, and it is kind of creepy that I watched it at 3 years old and laughed as the movie played. This movie is “Coraline”, and I absolutely loved it since I was a toddler. When I first watched it with my brothers, they were hiding under the covers and I sat normally and was mesmerised. I don’t have a least favourite movie though.

I like going to the movies because I get to see the movie the first time it comes out and I don't have to wait for it to come out on netflix. Well recently I went to see the movie joker, and I found it a really good movie and the joker (actor) had a really good acting skills. I think that this movie can affect people mentally positively and negatively. I think that this movie can affect people positively because it shows people that if you have a mental disability, you should not be afraid to talk about, as Joker talked to a psychologist about his problem. I think that sometimes it can affect people a bit more negatively because people with problems themselves can maybe feel insecure about themselves or even traumatize them. The best movie I've seen in the theaters is Good Boys and Dora, the real movie.

DeleteI personally love going to the movies because I find it so much better than just watching a movie at home. Watching movies at theaters is so much more intense and suspenseful. I haven't gone to watch Joker yet but I'm sure it could effect people by letting them know that its okay to be different and it doesn't matter whether you have a mental disability or not. I'm pretty sure the movie is a little scary so it might scare and traumatize some people but in the end it's not real. My favorite movie that I've watched in theaters was IT Chapter 2.

I think movies like The joker can have both a positive and negative effect. It might the scare the people with severe mental problems that they might go crazy. Yes its a bit far fetched but it could happen. It could also be a positive effect because it can show people that many people have mental issues and not just The joker. The best movie I've seen in the theater is Good Boys. Its really funny.

I love watching movies, especially in theaters. I love getting popcorn that's practically swimming in liquid butter, getting a drink that's bigger than your chair, and watching a movie on a 20m TV. I think some movies can have impacts on people but usually there not bad impacts. It could have an impact like don't bully others or something like that. I also don't think that it had extremely bad impacts on people.In the news you always see these people that the news anchor says, "well he was playing gta and then he murdered 10 children" that's not the game's fault, and the game didn't influence him,or at least I don't think so, it's the same with movies. Just because I see Deadpool kill people doesn't mean I'm going to go buy a katana and go on a rampage.

I think the movie probably impacts people both ways because it might really scare them, or it could make them realize that it is okay to be different and that it should not define a person. The best movie I saw in theatres was probably the movie Yesterday in Florida with reclining seats!

I have not seen the new Joker movie yet, but I have seen the trailer. I feel like it will have a positive affect because they can now see what truly happens to someone when they are made fun of their whole life. So I feel like this movie will create awareness on the subject. The worst movie that I have ever seen in theatre would be Suicide Squad because it felt like the whole movie was rushed.

DeleteI love going to the movie theater because I get to see new movies get to experience them on “The Big Screen” and in 3D. I do think some movies with bad messages can have a negative impact on very impressionable people, I don't think these movies affect many people as movies that can leave a negative influence are not targeted to young impressionable kids. The best movie I have seen in theater is probably “The Greatest Showman” this in one of my favorite movies and I recommend it to anyone who has not yet seen it. I cannot recall seeing a movie in theaters that was worse than the others as new movies are getting worse and worse so lately most new movies I’ve seen are not very good.
ReplyDeleteI don't really love going to the movies but if it is with people I like then i'm willing to go. Joker impacts a few people mainly because of the great acting. In multiple movies the people who go to see it come out of it looking at how good the acting is, that is how most actors get their names from. My favorite movie so far is, Escape Room. In that movie I really enjoy how the movie has multiple plot twists making it very entertaining.

I find that movies that are being made these days are really well made and have came a long way from what it was from when they were first created. I think that movies like joker dont have an impact on people because most people who go see movies usually arent facing the same struggles as characters like him and cant relate to them without pretending to be in their shoes. the best movie I ever saw inm theater was probably Aquaman. this is because the SGI was really well made and the story and acting was really good. the worst movie i went to see was Holmes and Wattson. it was suppose to be a sherlock holmes comedy, but the acting was bad and it wasnt funny.
ReplyDeleteI am not a fan of going to the movies. I am the kind of person who’d rather watch movies at home . I think it’s more fun to watch movies with my friends at home so you can make as much noise as you want and you literally do whatever you want. Movies like joker has a negative impact because young children are watching thinking it’s cool and scary . But they are too young so they get scared by the movie then have nightmares causing them not to get enough sleep.This affects their school life because sometimes they can’t focus due to lack of rest . the best movie I have ever watched in a theater is Jumanji. It was really good because the theater gave the right effects and the drums in the background sounded really realistic and thrilling in the theater. It was a breathtaking and funny movie and i really enjoyed it.

I’m actually going to see the Joker with my dad soon, and I’m really looking forward to it. I’m sure movies of this genre can influence people or affect people in certain ways… positive and negative. Don’t hate on me for this, but the worst movie I’ve ever watched was probably IT. I didn’t like it very much, it was well made though.

The movie Joker can have a negative impact because what I've heard is that it is crazy and if people decide to recreate the actions shown it could end up in a total disaster. I don't really hate or like any movies because I haven't seen very many.
