When I was younger I was obsessed with dogs. Every year for Christmas I would always ask for a dog one the top of my list. My family just wasn't fit for a dog and it would be too much of a chore. I never got a dog but one year I got a toy dog that could move and breath. This was my favorite toy I have ever received. Even though it wasn't real I would pretend it was and I would play with it everyday.I still wish I had a dog but I know my family is very busy and it just wouldn't be possible.I of course don't still play with it so I gave it to my cousin who loves it. This toy has impacted my life today. It has impacted my life because it made me realize that a dog is a big job that I'm not ready for.
When I was younger my favorite toy was a soccer ball. I would e outside everyday just kicking the soccer ball in a tiny net that I had and it would make noises when I got it in and would tell me how much goals I scored that day. It was my favorite because when I was younger all my cousins were playing soccer together so decided to join them and I guess I loved it so that next week it was my birthdy and everybody got me soccer balls, nets pretty much anything to do with soccer. I also still have that same soccer ball outside and still play with it. Yes that toy as impacted my life today because that's the toy that made me play soccer and I still play soccer today.
When I was younger, my favorite toy was a lego set. The reason was probably because there was infinite possibilities and it allowed me to build so many different things. I remember playing with it a lot when I was younger. I would spend most of my day playing with it. I think that it effected me in many ways to make me the person who I am today. I think about problems not as a complex string of hard memorization, but as different small concepts stuck together to make one big concept.
When I was younger, I loved playing with Barbies. I loved dressing them up in different outfits and creating scenarios like families and stuff. I also really liked polly pockets for the same reason. My sister and I would play with polly pockets all the time. That's one of my favourite memories with her. I don't think this impacted my life at all. I don't really see how barbies could impact my life today. The only thing I can think of would be the outfits I would out on my barbies, I would try and find outfits like that for myself.
When I was little, my parents got me a stuffed animal called build-a-bear. It's basically a little stuffed bear and you can customize it's outfits, color and name. My build-a-bear came in a purple sweater and jeans, so I named her Violet. This impacted my life because I bought my little sister a build-a-bear two years later. We used to play with them together and that's the best memory I have with her from when we were little. I used to think it was so cool that one of my sisters favorite toys is from me.
Back when I was younger, my favourite toy was this stuffed animal puppy that was beige and had long fluffy ears. I don’t know exactly why it was favourite but I was always very attached to it maybe because I always loved puppies and I found that one of the cutest. This had a big impact on my life because I have always loved dogs and I had a beige stuffed puppy when I was one and when I moved houses, I lost it so the first thing I bought was another beige puppy that puppy had been with me for a long time and I lost it again when I moved to Canada so , next year I might get a dog as my birthday present and I would really like it to be beige with long fluffy ears just like the one I had when I was little.
When I was younger, my favourite toy was a lego set. I loved this lego set so much because I could do so much with it. I would play with it for hours on end because it was so much fun. I feel that that lego set helped me very for when I eventually became older (today) because it help me see things differently and helped me solved problems that I probably wouldn't have been able to solve.
When I was younger, my favorite toys were Lego. It was my favorite toy because I loved building it with my parents and my brother all together. I remember once I spent so much time building a Lego set I got for christmas and I was so happy when I completed it, and left on the floor so that I could find a place to put it. Then my borther didn't see it there and by accident, he walked right through it and destroyed it. I was so mad because it took me almost 4 hours to finish. I think legos have had an impact on my life because it got me to follow instructions and develop an imagination that would later serve me in life.
My favorite toy when I was younger, was Lego. This was one of my favorite toys, because first of all it was always fun to receive the big box and later to build it. Every special occasion, I would ask for a set of lego and hope I would get it as a gift. I had lots of fun building and playing with this toy for many years. After destroying most of my structures, I would have accumulated the Lego pieces and then use my creativity to build what i wanted. However, there were certain sets, that I kept as a souvenir or to either play with. I believe that it impacted my life today, because I am now able to use my creativity to build anything. I can draw plans, construct things for the house very easily and it is something I enjoy doing. Another important reason this impacted my life today, was organization. I would sort my pieces, the plans, and the people, which helped me today, to be organized in my daily life. I will always remember lego, and how this toy helped me to be inspired by me creativity and help me to be organized.
One of my favourite toys when I was really young was a toy that would make different animal sounds. There was a wheel with a string that you would pull and when you released it the wheel spun. It then landed on an animal. Then it would say what the animal was and make the sound of it. I dont remeber why I liked it so much exactly because it was such a long time ago, but knowing me I think I wouldve liked it because of the sound. I probably found the sounds very funny and entertaining. I guess I could say this toy had an impact on my life today because it helped me learn my animals and the sounds they make.
My favourite toy when I was younger was dolls and fake animals. For Christmas one year I got a huge dollhouse, I thought it was the greatest thing ever since in the back there was a connected farm full of animals. I've always been obsessed with animals and dreamed of having a pet for my birthday. For my 6th birthday my parents got me a horse, it's still alive today and I visit it occasionally. This toy has had an impact on my life today because it helped me learn about my love for animals.
I remember on Christmas when I was about 7 or 8, I had gotten an american girl doll. I always wanted one and had begged my parents to get one for me. I used to play with it almost everyday and I grew very attached to it. Looking back, I don’t really know why it was my favourite toy because it was super creepy. But something about it just made me attached to it. Yes I do feel like this toy impacted my life because it made me realize that there are many responsibilities to take care of a living thing.
When I was I used to play with toys. I never really played with barbies or like that stuff I used to play with stuff animals more. My favourite stuff animal as a kid was this big stuffed bear. He was big and fluffy and I used to cuddle with him every night. My parents would laugh at me because he was enormous. He was bigger than me for most of my childhood. I still have my big bear to this day.
When I was younger, I played with a lot of toys, but two of my favourites were what we called my "throne" and my vanity. My throne was a pink and gold chair I got from the toy store that lit up and I would just sit on it all the time, I loved it so much! I also had a Sleeping Beauty mini vanity, that had a big mirror, that I would sit in front of and play on, it also came with an aurora doll, which was put into the vanity, where you could do her hair. These toys impacted me because they were memories from when I was younger.
When I was young my parents bought me this 10000 piece puzzle for christmas and I finished it in like 2 hours and then I did the puzzle in reverse so I could only see the backside of it. For me it wasn’t one specific thing it was more, one group of things. That thing was puzzles I could probably sit down on the floor at like 3 yrs old and do a whole bunch of them. What my parents said to me that one time I sat on the floor and my parents got worried of where I was because I was so quiet.
When I was three years old, my grandparents got me two stuffed animals for my birthday. They were a pig and a bear named “Piggy” and “Beary”, for obvious reasons. At first, I love Piggy more than anything in the world, but I slowly transitioned to Beary. He went with me everywhere and I did everything with him. Up until I was nine, I couldn’t go to sleep unless Beary was there. I absolutely loved him with all of my heart. I still have him, even if he might be a little beaten up now. He used to have a bow tie stitched to his neck, but it fell off, so I tied it around his neck for a good two years. Eventually I lost it, but that bowtie caused Beary to have floppy neck that cannot stand up. One time, he got a whole on his shoulder. I remember being one sad six year old, but my mom taught me how it’s possible to fix him up, and she showed me how to sew his arm back together. Beary will always have a special place in my heart.
When I was extremely young, I loved to play with LEGO's. It was just so much fun to receive a box full them and make anything that you wanted. I remember every time I would get a LEGO set for my birthday, doing well at school or even when I was good for an entire week I would spend hours building certain objects with my dad and sometimes for get to eat a meal. Sadly I eventually lost interest in them, but I will never forget the great memories I had building the sets and spending quality time with my dad. I think this particular toy impacted my life, because it helped me develop a sense of imagination as well as learning how to fall steps and procedures
When I was 7, I got my first skateboard. Back then it was a toy to me, but know it’s much more than that to me, it’s kinda my life. My current skateboard is worth over 250$, I take this sport very seriously and I’ve been skating for almost 7 years know. I’m pretty good at it too, I’m pretty sure it’s obvious, but It’s really impacted my life. Just like this blog’s meme, it is really the only “toy” that I think I’ll ever truly love. It’s my favorite toy because I found joy in it back when IU got my first board, and I still do 7 years later.
I think my favorite toy I ever got was a “Furby Boom”, it was a blue and spoke when you shook it. It came with an app were I could feed it among other stuff which I think is why I loved it so much. I could blink, it's mouth moved and wobbled back and forth it would also laugh when you ticked it and it's ears moved. I also had a “Furby Boom Baby” which would talk to the other one and also had an app that came with it. This toy didn't impact me very much because I haven’t thought about it for a few years until now.
My favourite toy when I was younger was a pink guitar. I played with it all the time, making my own music and annoying my parents because I played it so many times through out the day. It was my favourite because it was my favourite colour and I made it play amazing sounds (well I thought). It also gave my something to do and I used to give shows to my parents. It did because that's when I started liking music and to this day I love listen to music. It also helped me now the different cords and sounds.
When I was younger, my sister and I mainly played with toy cars. I can’t exactly remember my favourite toy but I do remember really liking to play with the cars a lot. Cars were my favourite to play with because I found them cool and interesting, and I could do cool tricks with them on ramps. The toy didn’t really impact me today, but I still find cars cool.
I was about 5 when I started to play soccer, that's when I had my first soccer practice and got a soccer ball. That was the first of many for me. Everyday after school I would come home and kick that ball against my couch for close to 2 hours a day pretending I was my favorite soccer players. It was my favorite toy because it brought me joy whenever I used it and whenever I scored on my other couch I was yelling pretending I scored the winning goal in the world cup final or something dumb like that.
When I was four I got my first bike, training wheels and all. I played with it everyday, doing whatever and getting a LOT of scars. I can remember one of stupider things I did was with my brother when we tried to ride our bikes on the side of the curb, that did not end so well. I don't really think that my bike was my favorite toy because it was coll nut more because I got to play on it with my brother. My bike didn't have a huge impact on me mentally, and it still doesn't, but I've always loved using it and I hope I always will
My favourite toy would probably have been lego. But my favourite thing to do was to play soccer.I started playing soccer at around three and just loved the game.I was either watching spongebob or playing soccer.I got my first soccer ball at around two years old but started actually being interested in it at three or four.I playing soccer with my dad or grandpa.I don't know if a soccer ball is considered a toy but It was what I loved playing with when I was young. It impacted me today because I still play soccer and enjoy it.
Growing I had many toys but my favourite would have to be this Jessie doll that I had. When I was younger, my favourite movie was Toy story and I'd watch it everyday and I finally got Jessie for Christmas. My mom would always tell me that I'd always keep it with me and always carry it around with me. Personally I don't think that this really made an impact on my life but I can say that it's a memory that I'll remember forever.
As a kid my favorite toy was my littler blanky. Out of the many toys I had it was the one that I played with the most and that I loved. I slept with it, kept it with me at all times and just loved having it with me. I felt like it was a real human and my best friend.
