  1. For me this week is going well because the weather hasn't been that bad so I've been going outside a lot more. Every Saturday if the weather is nice my family and I have a volleyball tournament, parents vs kids and whoever wins gets a prize. Some other things I like to do are baking, watching new shows and movies, working out and tanning if it's hot enough. I really really dislike online learning and I'm not looking forward to it at all. I hate doing work at home because it's very easy to get distracted and there's no teacher to ask questions. Instead you have to email them and most teachers take at least one day to respond which is understandable but inconvenient.

  2. This week has been going well for since I'm able to maintain a schedule everyday. I have online dance classes that keep me occupied everyday as well as conditioning classes. I don't want to do online learning because I don't feel motivation to do it, even if it's optional. I don't think we should focus on doing online learning too much because we are facing a really stressful time.

  3. This week, things are going fine. Everything has been the same for the past few weeks and its all been very busy. At home a do a bit of school work and usually just stay on my phone, watch netflix and ive spent lots of time with my family. I mean I think online school is obviously a good idea but I know for sure that it will be very hard to wake up for classes and stay concentrated for that long in my house. The only concern I have about online school is just making sure that everyone understands what were learning about since theres so many people on a call its hard to ask question or get your teacher to explain it to u.

  4. This week things are going very good me and my dad are keeping busy by making a shed and we are almost done and I have been playing video games a lot and going on my phone. If the online classes are that we have to follow our classes for the whole day than I am really not going to be a fan of that but if its only like one call every 3 days and stuff but just give us some assignments that don't count but we have to do than I would accept that.

  5. I am enjoying my time at home, but things get a little boring at times. To stay busy, I exercise, do school work, watch Netflix and bake. I am excited about online learning, however I think I will be less motivated at home than I would be at school. That is definitely my main concern about home-schooling. I think it will be fun at first because it’s new, but will get old fast and we will dread it just as much as we used to normal school.

  6. This week is just like any other week, which is boring. The only thing I've been doing is reading books, playing video games and doing some school work. I don't know how much longer I can keep this up because I'm running out of things to do. I am looking forward to online learning only because I haven't been doing anything lately and it may keep me occupied. One of the main concerns I have about online school is that I may not here what the teacher is saying only because the audio is terrible sometimes.

  7. Im starting to get used to being at home and ive not been as boring as when it first started. Ive been exercising like crazy with my brother and dad and ive been really focusing on myself because this time is a really time to focus on yourself and just not stressing over other things. Online learning would be easier than doing at home work with your mom lol but the only worries I have are viruses and bugs.

  8. This week has been good, I've been waking up earlier and it's been helping me have a decently organized schedule, in these hard times it helps me to have a little structure in my day so I don't spend all my days watching TV and on electronics. I've also been going outside almost everyday. Obviously, I am going into online learning a little clueless, most of us haven't experienced online learning, and it's going to be new and different but of course, I am keeping an open mind and will adapt to whatever comes of online classes. The only concern I have is my focus, it's not the usual learning environment, but I am sure I will manage!

  9. Things are going okay at home this week, but my siblings are getting on my nerves. I’ve been staying busy by babysitting my sister, painting/drawing, working out and going on my phone. Some of my concerns about online school is that it might get confusing since we haven’t gotten used to it, I might not understand what the teacher says or what the assignments are and there might be many distractions. For example background noises in your house. It’s definitely a change and I’m still getting used to it!

  11. Im staying busy at home by playing soccer outside and playing with my sister. I am also making a lot of cookies and muffins. I don't really care if we have online school because i know most teacher wont do it because they don't know how. It will also give me something to do. My concern about online school is if anyone wants to ask a question then we have to send an email and wait for them to respond.

  12. Things this week are going well, even though it has gotten pretty boring. I've been watching a lot of Netflix shows and I've been doing whatever assignments that have come in from my teachers. I don’t really have much of an opinion when it comes to online learning but I would much rather go to school then what we have to do right now. I think my only actual concern is that I’ll either sleep through my zoom call and miss the whole thing, or I’ll forget that I even have one and not go to it.

  13. I mean i am getting a bit bored of this quarantine but i am still happy we are not at school. I am playing video games, biking outside and going on my phone, nothing new. Well I mean i don't really care about doing online learning since i am bored but not too much.

  14. It's getting pretty boring at home and I'm starting to run out of things to do.I've mainly been playing road hockey or soccer and just playing video games. To keep myself entertained I try and master a skill or trick every day. I'm not a fan of online learning through zoom.I'd rather get assignments from managebac and submit them when I'm done. I find that way much more easier. My number one concern about online learning is that my dad sometimes cuts off the internet to try and force us to read or something but if I'm in the middle of something important it could be deleted or unsaved.

  15. Things are going pretty well at home. I have been doing a few things like face timing my friends, watching tiktoks, exercising and studying a little to stay busy. I feel like online learning can be helpful because if we end the year now without any classes, the next year will be pretty hard since we will have to catch up on a lot. Although i do have a few concerns about online learning. like zoom gets hacked sometimes so its not really that safe and sometimes, there is bad internet so that can be frustrating and will make it difficult to keep up with the teacher when they are talking.

  16. Things are running pretty smoothly at my house. My mom has come up with a list that I have to do everyday to keep me busy and off of electronics. I have been doing everything on the St-Thomas website so I feel that if we start doing online school, it won't be that big of a difference for me. I stay busy during the day by going biking with my friends or playing video games with them.

  17. Things are going well at home. I've been keeping busy by watching tv, doing greek lessons and working out. I feel like it will be very difficult to do online school. I don't even have the motivation to do optional work, so I doubt mandatory work will be fun. It is also going to be hard to learn because we can't ask questions and teachers can't explain things face to face.

  18. Things are going well at home. I have started up an aquarium which is exciting, so I've been keeping myself busy with that and I have been playing a lot of Animal Crossing. I am not at all looking forward to online learning, I don't have my own personal laptop or computer so my father is getting one for me soon, hopefully before classes start.

  19. Everything is the same at my house, nothing new really. I've been playing lots of video games with my friends, like call of duty. I've been trying to learn a new trick everyday on my skateboard, that's been going great other than the fact that I'm pretty tired. I'm really not looking forward to online classes since I'm enjoying myself in quarantine. You cant really learn the same way you would in a classroom since you're at home and there are a lot more distractions at home then in a classroom.

  20. Everything is good at my house, it's the same as usual. To stay busy I usually go on bike rights and just go outside with some friends, obviously staying 6 feet away from my friends. I also play a lot of video games, which probably most people are doing. I find that online learning messed up my sleep schedule, now it's all messed up. Some concerns is that I might miss some classes because I don't know when all the classes are.
