My Easter was fun. This year we did a zoom call with my whole family and my parents got me and a sister lots of chocolate. A story that has impressed me during this pandemic is a 13 year old boy that used his 3D printer to print ear guards for heath care workers. They are pieces of plastic with ridges that you place on the back of your hand to attach the elastic bands from the mask. The is a simple yet very effective invention because the elastic bands were hurting the back of their ears and these ear guards it won't hurt at all. It impressed me because the boy is only 13 and he came up with a really great and helpful idea. I think that things are slowly improving but I'm not sure when things will be going back to normal.
My Easter was pretty boring because usually on Easter my family and my cousins all get together for Easter and usually go for brunch which is fun because we are all together but this year sadly we couldn't. The thing that impressed me this Easter is that I thought families weren't gonna listen to the social distancing rule and go see their family but most people around my area listened to this rule which impressed me a lot. It impressed me because most people on Easter/Passover go see their family and people didn't. This has not only impacted my life it impacted many lives because they are not putting people at danger and they are just staying at home. I feel things are kinda getting better because the numbers with cases everyday I think is going down but the numbers are still rising so it's not getting better at the same time.
I don't have any stories that impressed me because I don't watch the news so I'm pretty cut off from everything. I think that in some places this is getting better, like n China people are allowed to go outside, but I hear that the infection rates have sky rocketed because of that. Here in Canada I don't think anything much has changed everythings pretty much the same.
My Easter was pretty good, other than the fact that my family couldn’t really see each other during it. I’m not exactly the type of person who enjoys watching the news, so I can’t exactly name many stories that have impressed me during this pandemic. But from what I've heard, things in China have been drastically improving, but with most things, it needs to get worse before it gets any better, and we’ve been seeing that in places like New York. Other than that, I don’t really know much about this pandemic.
I don't really have any stories that haven genuinely impressed me because I don't tend to watch the news because I just have better things to do. Although from the stories that I have heard, i'm just pretty impressed that everyone is listening to the rules and staying inside. I think that things are getting better but, if do get sent to school I think that there will be a second wave of the virus and it will get even worse.
There isn't really a story about coronavirus that impressed me because I haven't been keeping up with the news about it. I don't think that the situation is getting better, I actually think it's getting worse, more people are dying because of the virus. In some places like New York there are trucks on the road to store bodies because of how many deaths the virus has caused and that they can't be buried, which is not good.
My easter was pretty boring and not like past years. i don’t have anything that impressed me this easter all we did was a little easter hunt. We had regular supper and nothing special but we facetimed all my family and my cousin passed by my house to say hi. Other than that this easter wasn’t very fun. I don’t watch the news so i don’t know what’s getting better but i do know that me and my family is bonding better and family time together is fun.
My Easter was alright. I was able to spend time with family and my parents gave my sister and I chocolate. A story that has impressed me is the fact that a 20 year old woman in Alberta passed away due to the Covid-19. This proves that the virus can affect everyone, not only elders. This has impacted my life because it shows that there is no age limit to contract the virus nobody is immune to it.
My easter was fine and pretty normal to be honest. Our granparents sent us a "carepackage" (contactless) with gravy, stuffing and stuff like that so it was good. A story I heard about rona season that impressed me was that a 90 year old woman recovered from rona so that was some good news to hear, a break from all the bad news. I don't think things are getting better especially for america who has a moron for a president who can keep anything under control.
This Easter was really sad because on Easter I usually get to see my whole family but I didn’t get to this year. In the end we ended up FaceTiming them all while we ate but it took awhile for it to get going. A story that has impressed me was that a doctor went into a seniors home to help them all. She even ended up taking her three kids who were 13, 15, and 17 years old to help her get all the tasks done. I do feel that things are getting better but really slowly. On the news, they did say that if we continue like we are doing we should curve in weeks. Hopefully everything gets better and clears up for the summer.
My Easter was fine, nothing special really. A Covid story that impressed me was that our province is apparently following the social distancing rules better than any other place in the world, so that's really great. That means we might get a normal summer. this story gave me some hope for a non isolated summertime. I think things are starting to get better in some places, like Canada, but is also getting worse in some places like the US.
My Passover was pretty boring for the most part only because I didn't get to spend time with friends and family. Like other classmates said, I really don't have any stories that impressed me during the pandemic. I am just surprised that people are listening to the rules of social distancing and taking this virus seriously. This really impresses me because it's hard to stay away from friends and other people. In Canada it seems to be getting better and I hope this all goes away soon and we can get back to our normal lives.
For Easter I legitimately did nothing, since we aren't allowed to be in large groups of people. I don't really have a Covid story that interested me, just like some other classmates said. I just hope that we will have a normal summer with no isolation more than anything. I feel like things are getting better because a lot of people are listening and actually self-isolating, which is good.
I'm greek orthodox, so my family doesn't celebrate Easter until this weekend. I don't have any stories that impressed me, but I'm surprised that everybody stayed in their homes for Easter. I feel like things are getting better because people are actually self-isolating and any people in Canada have recovered from the virus. I feel like the virus will be a seasonal thing and we might get a second wave when everyone starts working and going to school again.
For easter i facetime both sides of family to just talk and catch up a bit. but for dinner its not the same like it usually is i did not eat turkey the only thing that was the same was that we made mash potatoes like we usually do. it felt like a normal day. I dont really have a corona story but i find it crazy that the US beat china and italy in such a short time. Also that the US have half a million people that have corona. Its crazy! Hopefully this will all be over in summer and life will go back to normal in the next few months.
My Easter was very fun because we did our normal egg hunt, watched an Easter movie, spent some time out front and had an Easter dinner. A story that has impressed me during the quarantine is that a number of Cuban doctors were sent to help Italy and fight against coronavirus. I think this is very brave and it is awesome that we are coming together to help one another during these hard times. I feel that things may seem to be getting better, but if we stop what we are doing now, the number of people affected will go up. That’s why we need to keep fighting right now.
My easter was great and we ate alot of chocolate. We did an egg hunt and i got a huge chocolate hamburger that took me 3 days to eat, but after that things got boring and i had nothing to do. This entire isolation thing is goming to make me go insane soon. I dont think i can hear my little brother scream one more time.
My easter was a lot of fun. We ate a lot of chocolate and had fun doing an egg hunt. We watched a movie at night that wasnt very good, but it was still fun to watch together. Something that impressed me with this pandemic is that a teennage boy used his 3d printer to print face masks for hospitals.
My easter was okay i did nothing special. I dont really have a story about the COVID-19 that impressed me because i dont watch the news or keep up. I dont think the situation is getting better because the cases are continuously increasing in most places and they are not even stopping let alone decreasing. Although there are a few countries that are doing better now like china and i hope that every country gets better soon.
I heard a story that I really liked, considering this time is pretty rough for everyone, it's nice to hear a little good news. I head that the rivers in italy are almost not polluted at all, and the fish are repopulating in certain rivers. The earth is actually taking this time to heal and recover from all the damage we've done, and although it's a short period of time, it's affecting the climate a lot.Easter was great, we had a nice dinner and stayed inside.
