  1. During Easter break my family and i were planing to go away to Mexico for the week because of covid-19 all non-essential travel is cancelled. If my family weren't planing on going away then we would spend Easter Sunday at my grandparents house. We are celebrating Easter this year but it will at our house and my grandparents won't come. The corona virus has effected this celebration because now we have to be social distancing which means no travelling or even going to peoples houses.

  2. I usually celebrate Easter by going to my aunt's house and having a big dinner with my dad's side of the family. It's usually very fun and I always look forward to it, but this year, since we are not allowed to be in big groups of people because of the coronavirus, we are not going to be celebrating Easter. I'm kind of sad that we won't be able to celebrate Easter this year, but honestly, it's fine.

  3. My family always goes to my nonna's house for Easter, it's our tradition. we still will be celebrating Easter this year but not at my nonna's, it will just be me and my family this year due to Covid-19. I'm most of my family isn't super pleased by this dilemma, because it was something we did every year.

  4. My family usually goes to my grandma's house for Easter, with my all my cousins. We will still celebrate Easter this year, because my family is planning on doing a big zoom call for all of us. It might be difficult because we are over 30 people but I think it could work. My family is disappointed that we can't get together for Easter, because we are breaking our tradition.

  5. Yes we do celebrate easter and what we do is that we set up a scavenger hunt for my little brother then we basically sit around eating chocolate and playing games, The COVID-19 pandemic won't affect us in any way while doing easter because we don't go anywhere for easter like some people do so were going to do it exactly the same.

  6. Ever since I was born, my family and I have celebrated Passover. Every single year I go to my aunt and uncle's house to celebrate the Jewish holiday. This year my family and I will not be doing a Seder or celebrating the holiday only because of the COVID-19 cases as well as my aunt has went through a lot these past few weeks, so she decided not to host the get together. I look forward to these kind of events, but it isn't the end of the world like my fellow classmates said.

  7. I don't celebrate Easter or Passover. We stopped doing Easter when I was 8 years old but the way we used to celebrate Easter was doing Easter egg hunts. My mom and dad would hide eggs all and the yard and me and my brother would go and look for them. We would have a competition for who could get the most and I always won so my parents would take some of my eggs and give them to him.

  8. Usually on Easter my whole family goes over to cousins house to eat dinner together and participate in a huge egg hunt. Sometimes me, my cousin and my sister even bake a cake. This year I think my parents are going to set up a small egg hunt on Easter morning for fun because we can't leave the house. The corona virus changed the way we celebrate it this year because we won't be able to be with family like usual.

  9. I usually go to my grandmothers house and we celebrate Easter at her house but because of the pandemic we don't want to take any risks on giving the coronavirus to my grandmother so we are sadly not doing anything for this year. My sister is still young so my parents are making a huge hunt for her to do at home because I have younger cousins so they usually do a hunt at my grandmothers house for the little kids.

  10. Normally, my family would spend Easter Sunday doing an egg hunt and family dinner with just the five of us because the rest of our family lives in New Brunswick. This year is really no different because my parents will pick up the chocolate while doing normal groceries. Every year, my brothers and I wake up to do an egg hunt from the “Easter Bunny” and open a small gift bag from “just” my parents including things like a big chocolate egg and a gift card. Overall, I’m happy our plans won’t be affected because of COVID-19.

  11. Normally on Easter me and my family just do an egg hunt. Then later in the day we usually go to my grandpas house for Sunday supper. This year I wont be doing anything with family because of corona. I asked my dad if we were doing an easter hunt and he even said no. COVID-19 is really affecting me and my family because I havent seen any if my cousins for so long and its honestly very hard.

  12. I don't celebrate Easter and Passover but I do celebrate other holidays like Diwali and it's usually with my family and my family friends. I will be celebrating them this year since they land in October or November. I don't think that the COVID-19 will affect them because I believe that it would’ve ended by then so I will be able to celebrate them with my family friends as well. COVID-19 has not changed the way I will spend my easter holidays because it has always been a regular day for me.

  13. On Easter, my family usually has a huge diner together every year. They're kind of like parties accept just celebrating easter. It's like a party in the sense that everybody's there. I'm pretty sure that my family will be celebrating easter just by ourselves because of COVID-19. When I was young we did the egg hunt but started to lose interest. Now we have just one chocolate bunny each. And honestly, I like the subject of free chocolate without any work to get it rather than having to look for it.

  14. The pandemic has changed majorly how we celebrate Easter. In my family, everyone comes over and we do a egg hunt, with all the cousins, and aunts, grandparents, etc. We also have dinner together which is always nice. We can't see our family this easter, but we are probably going to celebrate it in the summer along with all the other events we couldn't celebrate because of the quarantine (my sister's birthdays),

  15. Usually on Easter my family has an egg hunt. Every year we have it at another family members house, this year it was supposed to be at one of my cousins house. Due to the pandemic we won't be able to do that this year. Since I haven't seen them in a while im a bit disappointed since Easter is such a happy time to spend with family. But, I know it's important to social distance and stay home so im doing it for people at risk.

  16. On Easter, my family does this egg hunt for my little sister in the morning. Afterwards, we go to my Nonna's for lunch and have another hunt there. Finally, we end the day off by going to my moms side and have supper with them. This year, we wont be going anywhere but, my dads side of the family and I are going to do a zoom call so we can at least see each other. This changes because it will put you at a higher risk to get the disease.

  17. For Easter I usually have dinner with my cousins and grandmother, we will not be dining with them this year instead it will just be a normal night like any other. I'm glad we didn't eat with them this year because I find those dinners quite boring, but my aunt did drop off cookies that her youngest daughter had made (they weren't very good).
