As TERM 2 comes to a close, tell me:

Have you achieved any of your academic goals so far this school year?
Have you achieved any of your personal goals so far this school year?

TERM 3 is definitely the longest and most important term.

How will you ensure that TERM 3 is a successful term?

Explain.

  1. So far, I worked hard to achieve both my academic and personal goals. I was able to consistently get good marks and even if I didn't do as well as I hoped to on certain things, I know that I tried my best and worked my hardest. To ensure that term 3 is the most successful term for myself, I plan to keep working hard, staying focused and setting higher expectations for myself.

  2. Personally, this has been a much better year in my academics and personal goals. I’ve worked so hard this term to get my grades up and in most classes I’ve done so. In term 3, I’m going to work even harder to ensure that my grades will stay good or get better. I can’t wait for school to end because then it’s summer.

  3. I hope to enter term 3 in a good mood. Since it is the most important term I will try to keep a positive attitude throughout the term. I have achieved most of my academic goals this year so far, i would like to improve in math though, since I haven’t been doing the greatest with it. On a personal level, I have achieved all my goals.

  4. I guess you can say that that I did achieve my academic goals for this term because last term I did really bad and I knew that I had to upgrade my marks or I was going to fail the year. So this term I did upgrade my marks a little bit in some classes but in 1 or 2 classes I think my mark went down a little bit. I didn't really have any personal goals this term except for getting my marks up and not getting kicked out of class or getting in trouble as much which I kinda improved on the getting kicked out situation but not the getting in trouble situation. I will ensure that term 3 is a successful term by studying for my test and quizzes a lot more because when I study I only look at the paper for like 15 minutes than I get annoyed and go do something else than study like go on my phone. And I will try to improve on getting in trouble less at the same time.

  5. I definitely achieved my academic goals this year. I did a lot better in science and I didn't fail art this term. in general all of my marks went up and were above 80. I know that term 3 is going be the longest and hardest term, so I hope to enter the term in a good mindset so that I can succeed.

  6. Yes, I did achieve my academic goal this year. I also did achieve a personal goal. One of them was to improve in math. Last Term, I didn't really do well in math and I knew I needed to improve, so that's what I did this year. I also have another goal, to make honor role. Anyways, since term 3 is going to be the longest term, I need to make sure that I don't fail any classes and to always give in my all.

  7. I didn't really enter this term with any goals at all, academic or otherwise. I just kinda did whatever and did fine in most classes. I think I will set a few goals for term 3 though, considering it's the most important term in the year. But as long as I get above the average in most of my classes I think I'll be happy.

  8. So far this year I’ve learnt multiple things from each of my classes, but I’ve also learnt how to study properly and things that will help me in the future. One of my personal goals that I’ve achieved was improving my grades. In term three I will study hard, ask questions if I have any and go to tutorials for classes to help me fully understand the subject.

  9. I think I have achieved most of my academic goals so far in this school year but I do think I can improve in the next term. I also think that I achieved my personal goals this school year so far. To ensure that term 3 is successful I think that I should study more and make to sure to get homework done right away. I think that I should also try to focus more because I know term 3 is worth a lot.

  10. I have achieved most of my academic goals this school year but I definitely think that I could try harder for term 3. I studied harder than I did first term, and I put more time and effort into my work. One of my goals was to procrastinate less and make sure that my homework is done as soon as possible. I will try to put all my effort into term 3.

  11. Well to be honest i achieved some of my personal goals, but not some of them. An example is that I didn't really do that well in my exams, as i could've done way better and achieved that goal. Academically, I had a pretty good behavior, but not always, as sometimes I would get kicked out. Well in term 3 I hope to behave better and try harder, to get better marks.

  12. I was actually pretty upset with myself with the marks I had received this term. I didn’t reach any new goals at all academic wise, which was pretty upsetting. I obviously didn’t work hard enough, even if at times it seemed like I did. Luckily, term 1 went amazing for me, so I’m trying not to be so hard on myself, everyone has off days, weeks, months, even years. I just have to keep my head up and remember that I am capable of anything if I put my mind to it. Going in to term 3, I am hoping to get my grades back up again. Mentally, I’m going to work on being nicer to myself and remembering that I am one impressive person, and I’m proud of myself. To ensure these things, I will work even harder to do well in school and remember why I am doing all of this, to ensure a better future for myself. I will try my best to compliment myself every time I make a new achievement so that I stay positive.

  13. I'm not that satisfied with my marks this year because I don;t think I'm doing as good as I could, so I'm definitely going to try harder to get good marks for term 3. My academic goal for term 3 is to get 80 or above for every class, so I'm going to try my hardest to achieve that goal. I don't really have any personal goals this year and I'm mainly going to focus on my academic goal for now. To ensure that I do well in term 3, I'm going to try to focus more on school, because I find that I'm not to concentrated on school and that is why I'm not doing as well as last year.

  14. This year I think I could have done better and worked harder because my grades aren't completely where I want them to be but overall i'm really happy that i've been doing well. I didn't really have many personal goals this year aside from being more organized than the year before because last year wasn't that great. I'm pretty sure I've already achieved this goal and surprisingly, it really helped me to do better in school. Term three is when i'm going to put in all my effort towards getting better grades and working harder because I really don't want to end up with any of my averages being below 80 at the end of the year.

  15. so far this school year i havent really acieved my goals, but this term i did. my goal was to get better grades, because in term one they werent to good. In term 2 i tried harder and actually studied, so thats how i achieved my goal. I cant really say i completed any of my personal goals, because i never thought about making one. for term 3, i will try to make it successfull by studying a little bit everyday instead of studying all in one or two nights. i think this will help, because then i wont feal like everythings a rush and it seams like an overall better way to study.

  16. While I haven't really achieved my academic goals this year, I have achieved many of my personal goals for this academic year. I have entered a team which I been practicing for since a long time, and I have also started a weekly D&D game of my own. My plan for term three is to work harder on academics, and less on my personal goals. I won't abandon my personal objective, but to just focause less on them.

  17. I think that term two was a pretty successful term for me, I didn't really set any goals for myself to achieve but I definitely wasn't disappointed with my work this term. For therm three I will make sure that I will do well by making sure to study for all my tests and to finish and hand in all assignments.

  18. I think that this term was pretty successful for me. I didn't really set any goals for myself except for trying to make honor role again, which I won't know until February when the report cards are distributed. There wasn't any personal goals that I achieved this school year, but it's not over yet. For term three I will make sure that I am successful by working hard and studying as well.

  19. This term was not as successful term for me. I'm not as happy as I usual am with my grades, in term three I really need to work 5 times harder and that will help me improve my grades. I need to do way better in math and science. In term three I will try way harder in school ad focus mostly on school.

  20. The only academic goal that I reached this school year is to stop procrastinating. Last year I procrastinated so much that i got some really bad marks on my projects and it was very stressful to do an assignment the day before it’s due. Although, this year, I still procrastinate a little, but it’s still not as bad as last year so now, all the assignments and projects are less stressful for me and I do well on them since, I take time to do it not a last minute work as it was last year. But the other goals like getting better grades and doing well in french, I still haven’t achieved them. Unfortunately, I have not achieved any of the personal goals this school year, but I still sometimes try to achieve them.
In order to be successful in term three, I will start studying at least three weeks before exams and I need to stop looking at my phone and getting distracted by it while studying.

  21. I am proud of myself this term. Although, I still struggle in certain areas, I've been better at studying and found my own habits and tips for studying. My academic goal this year was to be better on time management, since I am a busy person, when I'm on top of things it helps me not stress when I know schoolwork is done. I have achieved my personal goals, one of them was to stay organised, and I have been really good with that this term.
To ensure that term 3 is a good term, I am going to study my hardest and focus a lot!

  22. This term I feel as if I tried doing my best in all my work. Even if I did struggle at some points. I was able to learn from them for the future. I felt more committed with participating and putting my best effort throughout my work. I feel as if I continue to keep my effort next term but add more motivation that i’ll be able to reach my expectations more accurately.

  23. To be honest I haven’t tried to hard all that much so far this year. I only had one goal and that was to get better at math because I had to. I think I’m doing pretty good at that. I didn’t have any personal goals or academic goals besides just that one. I do think I should try a bit harder for next term and the years to come.

  24. To be honest I'm not really impressed with myself this term.I know I can do better and thats the annoying part.Next term I'm going to step up my game and try to achieve better marks.I'm probably going to study more and concentrate on french because that brings down my average.Term three will be the term where I try the hardest because it counts for the most and aswell is the longest.I will also study a lot for the final exams.
