My favorite holiday movie would have to be The Grinch. It is my favorite movie because when I was younger I remember always watching it with my family during the Christmas holiday, and the movie created a lot of happy memories for my family and I. I do feel that the holidays are the perfect time to be watching movies with family because we are all together and I think that watching movies together is the perfect pass time. On Christmas Eve, we have my whole entire extended family over at our house, we eat food and have fun.

DeleteHome Alone is definitely my favorite holiday movie. It is my favorite Christmas movie because I’ve watched it a million times and it is a classic. Every year we watch Home Alone as a family while drinking hot chocolate and eating cookies. Yes, I definitely feel that the holidays are a time to watch Christmas movies with your family and also your friends. One of our holiday traditions is that we eat sausage rolls and face time our family in Ireland on Christmas eve.

DeleteMy favorite holiday movie is all the Home alone movies. I've watched each one more that three times and I am going to continue to do that. I love the Home alone series because they're so funny and you can never get sick of it. I do think that the holidays are the time to spend time with my family because it is a time to cherish your family and to be thankful for everything you have. Everyday I go to my grandparents and spend time with them and then I celebrate with my other grandparents on another day.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite holiday movie is either the Home Alone movies or Elf. I think Elf is my favorite because I find it really funny. I watch it every year with my family. Somehow I never get sick of it even though I've seen it so many times. I think that holidays are a time for watching movies with family because it's a time to be grateful for them and hang out with them. Every year I make greek cookies with my mom and we exchange cookies with my grandma and great grandma.
ReplyDeleteI’d have to say that my favorite movie is either Elf or Home Alone (I can’t pick). Those movies are my favourite because they’re really good if you need a a laugh and there’s something about them that just makes me watch them over and over again. Now, I do think that the holidays are a time to watch Christmas movies because it gives you a chance to spend time with your loved ones. Finally, my family and I every year make this bread called Grittibänz. Basically, Swiss people make bread but made in a shape of a man to represent St. Nicholas. You can also add things to it like chocolate or sesame seeds.

DeletePersonally, my favorite holiday movie, is all the Home Alone movies. I have always liked these movies, because they are very entertaining and funny. Home alone was always a holiday classic, and is in the spirit of christmas. It's a los interesting, to watch a young kid, protect himself from two robbers, and to hold them off. I think that the holidays are a time to spend time with family, and you can keep at least a day of those holidays to watch movies all together. Well, every christmas eve, my dads family go to my aunts house, and that's when we celebrate our christmas with that side of the family.

DeleteI have so many favourite christmas movies but if I had to pick I'd have to say the Home Alone movies, the reason I love them so much is because they're classic movies that never get old, they're funny and I really enjoy watching them. The holidays are a perfect time for families to bond and become closer. Watching movies, playing board games and having fun is exactly what this time is meant for. Every New Years all of my family (including the ones who don't live in canada) come to stay with my grandma for a few days to spend time as a family, watching movies, eating out and drinking hot cocoa, it's a lot of fun spending time with my cousins.

DeleteMy favourite holiday movie is Home alone. I can’t pick which Home Alone movies because they are all my favourite! I love those movies because they are really funny and nice. They also bring the christmas spirit. My favourite scenes in the movies are the bad guys being defeated by Kevvin because it’s just hilarious watching them fall into Kevin’s tricks! I don’t really have any fun holiday traditions although I do think that holidays are a time to watch a movie with the family because I feel it's really fun and a nice activity to do together. This activity also doesn’t take a lot of effort to do because you don’t have to move around a lot. I like this because in winters watching the snow fall outside and the wind makes me feel tired and I don’t want to do any work. So watching movies is the perfect activity!

DeleteMy favorite holiday movie is either Elf or The Grinch. Those two are my favorite because they are great movies for watching with your family and they are hilarious. In The Grinch, I like the story and it brings back so many memories from my childhood, because I was always scared of one scene when the Grinch made a big smile that was creepy, but I still watched it even though I was scared. For Elf, it brings back memories because my family and I used to watch it on Christmas eve all together and it was very enjoyable. I think that the holidays are great for watching movies altogether as a family. I do not have any holiday traditions.

DeletePersonally, I don't have any favourite holiday movies since I rarely watch movies. I find them usually a waste of time and I always get bored. One movie that I watched but still didn't finish is Polar Express. I watched this movie in school and it's the only holiday movie i've ever watched. I don't watch movies with my family during the holidays but I think it is something very fun that families can do.

DeleteI think my favourite movie would have to be, just like the meme up there, Die Hard. It is so fun and It could never get old. The action is so good. I've probably watched it like twice every christmas. The plot is amazing! Holidays are definitely a time to have family movies. Its the holidays where everyones home!

DeleteMy favorite holiday movie is Home along. I find that it is just a true christmas movie that everyone has seen. I like this movie because it is not just a classic but it's also very funny. My favourite seen is where the bad guys try and break into the house but kevin puts a bunch of tricks to scare them off. I definitely think that the holidays are meant to be with family and I think that watching movies is a great way to connect.

It is my favourite holiday movie because even though he was an adult, he still acted like a kid. I feel like holidays are a good time to watch movies because usually you won't be at school and your parents won't be at work.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite holiday movie is probably Frosty the snow man because eversince I was little id watch it almost every year with my cousin, sister, and other family. I do think one of the the best things to do is watch movies with your family because to me holidays is all about being with family. Baking and decorating christmas cookies is a big family tradition in my family that I do every year.

DeleteMy favorite holiday movie is the movie ELF. My favorite movie is ELF because I find it a really funny movie and I've always liked it since I was a kid. I think that holidays are and are not for watching movies with the family. I think that it is because that is pretty much the only time that people have with there family for a whole 3 weeks but at the same time no because I think that you should be doing fun activities with your family and not just sit down and watch movies cause you can do that when your parents get home from work later in the evening.I have a holiday tradition with my family that me and my family don't meat on Christmas eve because it's a religious thing that we are suspous to follow.

DeleteMy favourite holiday movie is Noelle. This is my favourite movie because it's really funny and really cute. I like watching movies with my family but I don't think that the holidays are just for that. My family has many fun traditions. My favourite is every Christmas eve, basically a bunch of family comes and stays over at my house for the night.

Also because it was this or Die Hard which was my first choice, but the meme on top was of Die Hard so I picked this.

DeleteI personally hate christmas movies, I have never seen a christmas movies that I genuinely thought “wow, that was a good movie”. Most of the time they all have the same plot line. “Home Alone” is one christmas movie that is different from the others, but I honestly didn't like it very much. If I had to choose one I would choose ‘The Night Before Christmas” simply because it is not a christmas movie but some people think that it is so it counts as my favorite “christmas movie”. I think that the holidays are a terrible time to watch movies with families because all they will want to watch are christmas movies. We do not have any “fun” holiday traditions in my family because we see my extended family for christmas every year and my family is so big that it is exhausting to be around them.

Usually I watch holiday movies with my family, we usually watch the same ones every year.Holidays are a good time to watch movies with your family.I have lots of holiday traditions like putting up a tree, watching holiday movies, making cookies and making gingerbread houses.

DeleteMy favourite like most people is the home alone movies. Out of the two of them my favourite would have to be the fist one where he gets left home alone. Thats my favourite because how could his parents possibly live him behind and only notice on the plane. All the trics kevin pulls its just so funny and its interesting how he can think of all those trics in a short amount of time. I like watching this movie with my family which I do every year its a tradition. My favourite moment is when my sister and I get up some how at the same time in the night of christmas eve to look at the presents from upstairs.

DeleteI really like the home alone movies, but my favorite christmas movie is probably charlie browns christmas. its a classic, its nice and festive. I do think the holidays are a great time to watch movies with the family, go play hockey at the local rink, snowboarding and spending time with those you are close to. every year i go play hockey with my friends everyday at the rink, its so fun.

DeleteI really enjoy watching the home alone movies because it always puts a smile on my face. They are extremely enjoyable to watch do to the fact that it is a comedy and I always laugh. I do think that the holidays are a great time to watch movies because it gives you a chance to spend time with loved ones. The only tradition I do during the holidays is snowboarding with my parents.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite Christmas movie is Christmas with the Kranks. I love that movie because it's really funny and whenever me and my family watch it, we always laugh, no matter how many times we have seen it. The holidays are a fun time to watch movies with family, but to me I don't really care what we do, the time spent with my family is special no matter what we do. We have lots of special family traditions like we do a fondue on New Years Eve.
